Once Stripe is connected, open Memberships and use the create buttons to add two kinds of product: memberships, which are recurring subscriptions billed monthly or annually, and packs, which are bundles of credits. Both grant credits, and credits are what members spend to book classes.
| Memberships | Packs | |
|---|---|---|
| Billing | Recurring, monthly or annually | One-time, or recurring (auto-renews with fresh credits) |
| Grants | Unlimited classes, or a fixed number of credits per billing period | A fixed bundle of credits, for example 5, 10, 15 or 20 |
| Expiry | Credits refresh each billing period | Credits last for the validity period you set |
| Best for | Committed regulars | Casual members, newcomers and drop-ins |
| Example | "Unlimited Monthly" | "10 Class Pack" - 10 credits, valid 3 months |
A pack does not have to be a one-off purchase. Packs come in two flavours:
A drop-in is simply a one-credit pack. Create a pack worth one credit at your drop-in price and a member can buy and book in a single flow.
Products can be restricted to one per customer, or to new customers only. That is how you run an intro offer without existing members claiming it.
Products you no longer sell can be archived rather than deleted, so historical purchases and reporting stay intact. You can still grant an archived package to a specific member by email when you need to.
Add discount codes to promote a pack, checkout upsells to raise order value, and see payments and refunds for managing a member's billing after purchase.
